I’m so excited this year to be using the Quilter’s Planner to help keep my life on track. I was a bit reluctant to stop using my Carpe Diem at first, but I was swayed by the big pages and the timing on the vertical days. And I have other plans for my Carpe Diem that I will be sharing next week on I’ll Take Jesus.Β Β

(My links for the Quilter’s Planner are affiliate links which won’t affect your price at all! You, too, can become an affiliate when you purchase your QP2018 through my link; and, I can afford to keep homeschooling my youngest!)

This weekend I finished the first block for the Quilter’s Planner Sampler Quilt. Julie and I decided we would do these blocks together and post together to keep each other accountable!! So be sure and pop over to her blog to see her version!!

I decided for a new twist, I’d use sheep fabric for this sampler quilt. Surprise!!! πŸ™‚ Here’s my version:

This fabric is Bonnie Christine’s Lambkin fabric with Moda Swirls background fabric.

It’s going to be a fun year of blocks and a fun quilt when it’s done!! πŸ™‚

Here’s a pic of my planner in use:

I haven’t updated my list this week, but I’ve finished one project and moved on with a few others. I’ll share more this Friday for sure! πŸ™‚ But isn’t that neat to have that place to list all of your projects? and color code the sections? I love it! (For the record, I think all of my fabric is chosen for all of these projects…)

Are you going to join in this Quilter’s Planner Sampler QAL? Do it! You won’t regret it!!

Also, pop on over to I’ll Take Jesus where I’ve posted about Bible Art Journaling and it’s connection with these blocks Julie and I have made! πŸ™‚

Blessings,
