Are you excited?? It's Monday!!! Yay!!! One of my favorite days of the week!

a new beginning…a fresh start!

And we moved our house around and cleaned it all up (and had a little party and messed it up and cleaned it up again! LOL!!!)

In cleaning up and moving the house around, I thought that for my craft studio, I should organize my WIPs and UFOs!! I did it…whew! There are a LOT!!!

So, instead of dwelling on what I didn't finish, let's see what I did finish this summer!

My niece had a sweet baby last January (here he is with Oma!!)! I was so excited to meet him this summer at my nephew's wedding. I was also super excited to get to give him a fun new quilt!!!

I adored making this sweet little quilt using a new pattern by the Tiny Seamstress, Tiffany Jenkins. It's called Ribbons and it is awesomely fast and beautiful! I used Bonnie Christine's fabrics Hello Bear from Art Gallery Fabrics.

We took these pictures in Spokane after the quilt had ridden in a gift bag for about a week! LOL!! I love the pine tree background!

When we gave our niece and nephew (in law) the quilt, we also gave them a sweet new handmade dress for their daughter.

How could you resist that face???

The best part of this dress (in my humble opinion!) is the little embroidery:

She is totally the Chicken Whisperer! She can catch, hold, and woo chickens!! Such a doll!!! I used a pattern from BariJ and fabric that I adore from Dear Stella fabrics called EIEIO.

It gives me a renewed desire to finish all of my sheep projects (I have three going … wait, maybe four!). Be sure to keep watch here for more farm animals, cute children, and a LOT of HOPE on Mondays!!

Blessings!
