Wednesday’s Wisdom…

yep…I know it's Thursday…but after my crazy week, I didn't want to miss some wonderful wisdom for you today!

First off, I got to thinking this week, why do I post Wednesday's Wisdom when it's hard to do…it's not necessarily hard to have direction and find sources to site and impart what I've learned. But right now it's hard for me to stop, take a breath and focus. It's hard to stop just vegging when I get on the computer (yes, facebook is an addiction that I'm working on, for sure!!). When I turn off my brain, I don't want to think about anything!! You've been there…i know!!!

But when life gets to me…when i want to throw in the towel and run away to the Bahamas, which I so frequently want to do…I would want a place that was safe to go and read and get some inspiration.

Second, I want you to know that my marriage is not perfect. I talk about Mr Gorgeous (who totally is gorgeous and wonderful and perfect – most of the time!!) and I exhort you to only talk wonderfully about your spouse, but I am not the perfect wife by any stretch of the imagination(I'm trying to talk Mr Gorgeous into writing his own blog to make up for all of my craziness in the blogosphere!!). But Mr Gorgeous and I have two things going for us – a strong faith in the God who believes in us, too! and Communication! It's taken a while to get to a place where I can stand here and tell you…we have a strong marriage!! But, we've been proactive about it…

and so Wednesday's Wisdom…from my heart to yours!! You too can stand up and say, "I have a strong marriage!!"

One friend asked me, "Is it worth it? Do I want to work on this?"

When God's best is involved, it is definitely worth it!! Always…

That's the first step…

Next week, I'm going to give you some statements you can use in your marriage to get off of that Crazy Cycle!! Thanks for riding this ride with me and remember, I'm always here to listen, answer questions or criticisms…you are not alone! 🙂
