Happy Friday! I wanted to share two gifts that I made for my loved ones, Mr Gorgeous and my momma! I didn’t have time to take pics before I gifted them, so they were so gracious to do that for me!!

First, Mr Gorgeous got a mug rug:

Last week, I shared with you the custom table runner I made for an Etsy customer. While I was gathering up fabric for that, I found these sweet little bits and scraps with these cuties on them. So, during the start of the Olympics, I plopped down on the couch and proceeded to hand sew this little guy together.

After hand-piecing the scraps, I embroidered “love you” and “you’re my favorite” on there, and I was practicing my blanket stitch around the cute little house. I went ahead and machine-quilted and bound the mug rug and gave it to him on Valentine’s Day. (He actually gave me my gift the night before, because it was after midnight! so I gave him this!!)

Handwork during the Olympics has been my favorite thing to do lately. So I used my Cricut Maker to cut hearts, and I hand sewed them together:

Mr Gorgeous got two little hearts for his office, too!

Here’s his desktop…he’s super proud of this “album cover” photo we took as a family last December:

Yep…he’s spoiled!! 🙂

Speaking of my Cricut maker, I used it to make this sweet little wall hanging for my mom:

I was inspired by this quilt here on Pinterest, and I wanted to put it together quickly. And on Wednesday morning, I gave this cute mini to my mom with a couple cutie hearts. I used gorgeous Tilda Fabrics – their latest Lemon Tree which you can buy at Julie’s Intrepid Thread. But go quickly because it’s selling out!!!

It’s so fun to work with gorgeous and fun fabrics, isn’t it??? It’s also great to finish!!! yay!!

What are you finishing today? Come back Monday so I can share with you all about my Cricut Maker! It’s AMAZING!!!

I’m linking up with Amanda Jean and Crazy Mom Quilts.

Blessings,
