We’re almost finished here with our quick Quilt Along!! It’s sad that it’s almost over, but really great that we will have a finished project very soon!!

I say very soon, because I got sidetracked this past week and did not finish my bed runner!! eeeep!

But I did cut my borders and I have my backing ready.

For the bed runner, you can cut 5 – 2.5″ strips WOF for your borders. Cut one of those strips in half (2.5″x22″).

Sew your two 22″ strips on either short side of your runner. Then sew two of your WOF strips together and sew it onto your long sides. Do the same with the other side. And voila! You have your completed top.

Quilt, bind, and put it on your gorgeous Christmas bed!! I will show you mine very soon. Be sure and check out other instructions on Julie and Brooke’s blogs: for the lap sized version – Julie’s instructions; for the table runner version – Brooke’s instructions.

If you would like some other Christmas crafting inspiration, be sure and check out our other blog, I’ll Take Jesus on Mondays in December. Here’s an example of what I created for last week’s post:

I hope you are enjoying your holiday season to the fullest!!! Stay tuned here for more crafting Christmas fun!!

Blessings,
