Dreamy Minis and Embroidery!

Ohhhhh I’m working it down here. I’ve finally gotten back to sewing after so many changes in our lives!! Stay Tuned for a fun Pacific Northwest post coming soon. Also, if you’d like to read my Harvey musings, pop over to Julie’s and my site, I’ll Take Jesus – Angels on the Levee.

In the meantime, check out my fun new mini for a Houston MQG swap with Triad MQG:

We’re sending our quilts soon, so my partner doesn’t know right now that she’s getting this, so I’m being a little vague! LOL!!

Isn’t this block the cutest? Julie made a whole mini using this block, and I fell in love with it. It’s super small (5″ finished), so that increases the cuteness!! 🙂

Teal’s my favorite! 🙂

And my very favorite…hand embroidery!! I used a font (The Sweetest Thing) that I really love and wrote the word “dream” with my washable marker. Then I embroidered it using a backstitch.

I hope this inspires my partner to dream in bright colors!!

I hope I inspire you to embroider or sew something today. Also, I’ve cross-posted this on I’ll Take Jesus, too! Enjoy!!!
