I’m thrilled with this little project!

My darling friend Tita wanted to make a sewing machine apron for her machine. I desperately wanted pockets for when I sew at my machine. So I got Tita to come over and sew with me, and I grabbed a pattern that I had stashed (and Tita bought one, too!!!) and we sewed!!

We made Erin Schlosser’s Sewing Machine Apron from Schlosser Designs.

I used fabric from the Intrepid Thread – Brenda Watson’s Colette (love this fabric!)

I love these little pockets. I use them constantly, which means yes, I use my seam ripper a LOT!

…and this cutie thread catcher. Very well used!!!

The underside is made of laminate fabric so as to grip the table under the machine. So fun!!!

I love this sweet project…and I think I need a dress out of that macaron fabric. What do you think?

What have you made this week?

Blessings!!!
