WIPs Wednesday – the college version

This week I wanted to give you a sneaky peek of what is going to happen next week at our Pixie Summer Home QAL! I also wanted to show you a million projects that I’m working on! LOL!! One of the things that I love to do is list out my ongoing projects…But alas, I’m am actually on the road to Nashville today!

We’re running over to Belmont U to get this boy all registered and oriented! (Student Orientation is always so fun!!)

In the midst of the college fun, I will be embroidering my little fingers off…

My scripture blocks are coming along!

Yesterday I spent the day with a dear friend learning how to use the amazing serger she is loaning me. I whipped up this t-shirt (without finishing the edges yet…) with serged seams! So awesome!!! I have several new outfits on the to-do list for sure!!

Last week, my girlies and I went to Anthropologie. I tried on different styles to see if they were good fitting styles. But, as usual, I was really in love with their tea towel display. It reminded me of BariJ’s at Quilt Market…

I’m inspired by both displays…inspired enough to start thinking about getting ready for craft shows here in Houston in the fall. I’m ready to create on a larger scale!! What do you think? A good WIP idea?

And … wait for it…

Here are a few sneaky peeks for next week’s Pixie Summer Home QAL…

These blocks are fun and easy to put together. Grab your fabrics today to join in!!! (refer back to this post for fabric requirements!)

What are you working on this week? I hope your list is long and full of joy!!
