hopeful reminders in quilt form!!

I am so very thankful for the many reminders in my world that God is present and alive and bigger than any struggle I'm having.

Don't get me wrong…I have large moments where I can't see the forest for the trees. Recently, I have seen more hurt, loss, tragedy, despair, unkindness, etc than I care to in my (short! *cough*) life!! That's a lot of trees through which to see the forest!!

There's a group of verses in the Bible that ground me, though! I'm sure I've posted it here a million times. It's what I call my life verse:

"The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing." (Zeph 3:17 – NIV)

I adore knowing that God is rejoicing over me with music!! I have a mini quilt in my shop that actually says this:

I have a friend that saw this little quilt and wanted one just like it only a little bigger and in the colors of her grandaughter's new baby's nursery. So I made one for her:

She's doing her nursery in lime green and sweet pink!

I love the fairies…

This is a message for all of us!!! No matter what our circumstances, struggles, pain…the Lord is our Mighty Warrior, and He is rejoicing over us and He is mighty to Save!!
