{white is the new black!}

I love this sweet picture!!! Some of my fave things right here: SHEEP, sweet quilts, and a pillow with text on it!! What are you wondering about right now???

Well, yesterday, I finished it!!! I painted one whole wall in my bedroom! That may not seem like a lot, but for me, it was! And there was physical sacrifice, too…but I won't go into that! (Check out my Instagram feed if you are curious…)

So here is my before pic that I'm using….

You can see how I just painted a little bit brown. It worked for a while, but most of the really great Etsy pics have a white background. So I decided to drink the Kool-Aid and paint the whole wall Ultra White.

And here it is…

Here's my whole bedroom…we have a few more thing to cull through and move around, so it still seems a bit 'full'!! :)

Here's what I'm creating today:

a "Barbie Bag".

My sister had a friend up in North Dakota whose mom sewed barbie clothes for her. She also made this patchwork bag for all of Tiff's barbie things. At least, that's how I remember it. She handed down the bag and the fun handsewn clothes to me. I have that bag somewhere around here, but I can't seem to find it!! I probably put it in the "to be saved to use to make a quilt" bin. I'm semtimental when it comes to stuff like that!

So Lil has all these barbies and barbie clothes, and when the summer time is over and all of the naked barbies come in from beside the pool, she'll need a place for them all!

Time for a new Barbie Bag…out of these fun vintage fabrics:

When I'm done with that, it's back to quilting my quilts!! I may have to add one to the list (which would make it 6 quilts in 2.5 weeks! eeeeek!!). We'll see the timing on everything!
