{tea & crafting love…}

So I know we've been celebrating birthdays around here like crazy, but I'm going to talk about them a little bit more…

In 11 days, my first born turns 19. Her best friend turns 19 twelve days after that! And as we have done in the past a few times, they had a combined birthday tea party with a few of their college friends last night!

I helped a little bit with the prep, including these gorgeous chocolate covered strawberries!! (definitely worth the WW points!!)

Of course, Cora asked me to make scones!! It's been a while since I've made them…ohhhh again, definitely worth the points!!

Stay tuned for a fun recipe download for these!!! (a la this site here: They Draw and Cook!! I adore this idea of drawing recipes!!!)

Susanna's momma provided all of the gorgeous tea sets and forks and a lot of the food (that Susanna made, too!!)…

The girlies made the tissue paper pompoms, too!!

And I whipped up the bunting specifically for the party!! It's going to look stunning in Cora's newly painted room…

Yep…very fun!!!

Cora and Susanna have been bffs since birth, so I grabbed some beloved pics of them together, and the giries put them on the shutter board! And I added some fun chalkboard art…

They are adorable!!!

Everybody came and picked out their tea flavor and sat down to their feast! Chicken salad croissants, strawberry pound cake, and cheese and crackers…purely delightful!!

And then we sang…they are looking too grown up for me!!

After the food, the girlies sat down to decorate hats and draw on mugs.

So creative!!!

Cora has her own Instax camera (in awesome hipster fashion!)…this is the pic I got to take with it!!

And I got to paint on one of the mugs, too…

Yep…

I'm predictable!!! ♥

And this was the perfect tea party!!!

Grab your loved ones and enjoy some time with them…that's the best part of these creative gatherings!!

Blessings!!
