{how to impress your mother…with a GIVEAWAY!!}

{my momma and me last weekend}

Ohhhhh boy, I have a goody to share with you today!!! And it will definitely impress your momma!!!

I did a pattern test for my darling friend, Erin with Schlosser Designs:

Her Garden Party Clutch

(Erin's original)

Garden Party Clutch

Isn't it super fun???

I made two versions of it…one for me and one for a friend (who hopefully doesn't read my blog, because I haven't been able to give it to her yet!!)…

This is my Put a Bird on It Garden Party Clutch!!

I used organic fabrics from the Havana collection by Monaluna that I won at the Houston Modern Quilt Guild Fall Festival MeetUp last Nov!! Sooooo fun!!!

It's fun and roomy…perfect for your extra fat quarters!!

and here is my second one…

I used a dish towel that had this awesome print on it! (It features my friend's last name!! again, I hope she doesn't see it! LOL!!)  and I used Moda's Pezzy Prints for the inside and the top and little bits of extras on the sides! I added a strip of blue (and pocket) from Ty Pennington's Impressions collection.

I love the little angel charm!!

What I love about Erin's patterns is that she is clear, to the point, and thorough. She has the best illustrations to explain the instructions to make them even clearer! Love that!!

…and guess what????

I have this very PDF pattern to give away to one lucky commenter!!!

All you have to do is comment on this post by midnight, Sunday, May 5th!!

Mr Random will pick a winner on the morning of May6th which should give you plenty of time to whip one of these gorgeous clutches for your momma for Mother's Day!! How awesome is that??? Thanks, Erin, for your generosity!!
