Guess who had a great Easter????
I spent the few weeks leading up to Easter sewing dresses for myself and my lovely girlies!!
Here are the patterns I used…
and here are the final products:
I made Quentin's bowtie back in January…he really wanted to match Cora, but I left that to Nathan…
I love the hemline of this dress!!
And a couple more shots of the fam…
in our normal state…
So I'm super excited to announce that I'm part of a blog hop that starts today!!!!
I was asked to help out with some sewing…and I'll share that with you later…but here's a sneaky peek of another one of my projects using Collage…
Go HERE to Carrie's blog to check out her new fabric collection, Collage!!!
Throughout the next two weeks, check out these awesome sewinistas:
And then join me on the 15th to see what awesomeness I got to create with her fabulous collection!!!!!
My Weekend Art Project…by sally keller
A chalkboard art piece…
to get our laundry organized!!!
I got the fonts and the look here:
and then I printed out how I wanted it to look, covered the back of the printed paper with chalk, and traced it onto the board. The chalk on the back of the paper went onto the board like I had drawn it there. I traced all of the faint chalk with white paint. (did the swirlies on my own…)…and Voila!!! A new piece of art!!
I'm going to put a mini-laundry line above it on the wall…so cute!!
and hopefully, this will inspire us even more to stay on schedule with our laundry!!
Who said we couldn't be creative with even the mundane????
