For my giveaway, be sure to post a comment (or two or three) on this post here!!! You've got until next Monday, Nov 14th!! Better hurry!!
Okay, so where were we???
How about some loot pictures?? Yeah, we all love good loot pics.
Now, if you don't know what Sample Spree is, it is a two hour shopping extravaganza that select companies choose to participate in, usually the day before Market starts. This year it was Friday, Oct 28th. You sit in line for a crazy amount of hours (we sat for 3 hours!! eek!!) and then when they open the doors, you RUN for the booth from which you want to buy stuff. Usually it's the Moda booth, because they have lots and lots of fat quarters and fat eighth packs of the fabrics that are just announced and shown at Market.
The thing is everything is wholesale, only open to business with credentials (tax ID, business bank acct) which includes cottage industry stores like mine. But mainly, Market is geared towards quilt stores…fabric stores, pattern stores, etc. So the manufacturers want the stores to get "Samples" of their products so they can make "Samples" for their stores!! :)
So here is what I got…
Thomas Knauer's Pear Tree…I already have a great Christmas idea for these fabrics…out of the box is soooo fun!!
You've seen these, but I have to show them again!! CUTE!!!! ♥
Aneela's "A Walk in the Woods"…adorable!!
Here's another shot of it…
On a whim, I picked up Cosmo Cricket's Salt Air from Moda…
Love these label panels!! Stay Tuned to the blog in the near future…they may be involved in a little giveaway later!! hmmmmmmm….
And of course, when you go to Market, you get little samples of fun stuff like these:
Kate Spain's "Good Fortune" 2.5" squares came with a fortune cookie…it was very tasty…LOL!!
Moda was also giving away these little needle holders. That's a design by Lu Summers! CUTE!!!
and I was really desperate for one since I keep losing my embroidery needles!!
