So last Friday, we had a girlies' afternoon…and where did we go???
Lillian, Mom, and I went to the show, A Quilt Odyssey, put on by the Quilt Guild of Greater Houston.
We got the chance to vote for our fave quilts, buy stuff, and eat snacks…
and so, as we wandered down the aisles filled with fun quilts and fun booths in which to spend our money, I took pics of my faves so that I could figure out which one to vote for…
Fair Warning! These are cell phone pics, and even though I have a great cell phone, they aren't the greatest quality…just sayin'…
I am always drawn to square patchy-type patterns…
Some day I WILL make a crazy quilt!!
{this is a bit blurry, but with both of my parents from Kansas, I had to take this!!}
love love love!!!!
This was Lil's fave!! It is called "You can't hide your lyin' eyes"…cute, huh?
and here's my fave…

We finished off with this sweet quilt…aren't these appliqued angels wonderful?
perfect ending for a Sally's Angelworks post, don'tcha think???
Thanks for sharing your photos. I love looking at quilts and these are very nice. I, too, love the square patchy-type patterns.
I wish i could talk with the Lying Eyes gal and get the story behind the title….so fun!
