I have a quickie post today before I brave the MALL with my sweetie children!! (this is saying a LOT!! going to the mall the Friday before the week before Christmas? Am I from outer space???)

Here is the ornament layer…

So I sewed all of the layers together and then got out the JUMBO (it's so jumbo! {adore}) RicRak and sewed it to the edges with the borders…
all the while adding the ricrack, I was chanting…press toward the border, press toward the border!!
and HERE's THE TOP ALL DONE!!! YIPEEEEE!!!

So here's the Christmas Tree I made last night!
I got the pattern and instructions from Amy Powers' Inspired Ideas online Mag. It's a FABULOUS magazine!!! Click on the link to read it…EYE CANDY!!!!
I got the spool and the little container of sewing machine oil from my sewing machine class at my LQS (local quilting store). I'm going to hobby lobby today to get more spools and dowels to hold my little trees!! But for now, this works!!

Off to do some shopping…grocery, Christmas, and on and on…
