Quickie tonight while I get tomorrow's post all together!
While reading Love and Respect this past week, I kept hearing a voice telling me…listen to these words:
"Husbands hear criticism as contempt and disrespect!"
So I'm thinking, when do I criticize Mr Gorgeous??? And then it hits me (after it's repeated the 10th time), when I ask him for the 10th time, why haven't you done this or that? or what were you thinking when you did this?? or have you thought about doing this???? He hears this: "I don't respect you!" Even though I'm not thinking that at all, my criticism says that! Now I'm not talking about when he asks me, "what do you think about this?" and I tell him. I'm talking about that unsolicited bit of what we wives think will "help" our gorgeous men to just be even better gorgeous men.
What really will help our men be a LOT better men is for us to tell them what we love AND RESPECT about them!

Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife. Prov 21:19
or this one…
A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day; Prov 27:15
(this reminds me of today's rain!!)
SO today I choose NOT to be quarrelsome!! how about you???
