Ohhh Wednesday is such a great day to sit and just ponder things, life, marriage, and so forth…so I've decided to do a fun weekly blog post to tell you what I'm learning about life! For the first few months, you are going to hear me talk a lot about marriage. I am happily married to an incredible guy, mr gorgeous, who consistently sweeps me off of my feet day after day. But there are those days where we look at each other and think, "who is this person I'm living with??? what language is he/she speaking???" That's when God reaches down and helps us through yet another "learning experience" in our marriage.

One of the things I've learned in my life after 40 years is that prevention is better than fixing things…think about it! Go to the dentist and get your teeth cleaned rather than wait for the toothache to hit; go to the dr and get your annual physical and see that everything is A-OK!!(i just did this and my cholesterol is wonderful!! yipeeee!!!); and I've decided Marriage deserves no LESS!! So, I want to ensure that nothing goes wrong with my marriage. Where do I go? What do I do? That's what we are going to talk about briefly each Wednesday…I want to share some things I've learned and some resources I've found that have literally SAVED my marriage.

The book that I'm reading right now is called LOVE AND RESPECT by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. It is mindbogglingly wonderful and life changing!! This is where the quote from the beginning of the post came from. Here's what he says about his book..see if you are in this list:

Here's the thing of it: I'm here for you! I'm going to walk this journey not only to help my marriage, but also to help others through their crazy cycles that they go through in their marriages!! (the Crazy Cycle is the first thing he talks about in the book!! Get this book…it is phenominal!!)
