Mondays
Good Monday morning, my friends!! Ohhh I have a bunch of stuff to share with you today!! First of all, here are my gratitudes for today:

1. soooo thankful that today is Monday

2. soooo thankful that Mr Gorgeous has a job, even if it does take him to CA

3. soooo thankful that I'm going to live this week to the fullest and not just try to "get through it!"

4. soooo thankful that I have a beautiful extended family and wonderful friends to hang with this week!

5. soooo thankful for the internet so i can show and tell all my fun stuff today!! 🙂

It's such a wonderful feeling to start a day off with being thankful, right? I'm living the "abundant" life (whether or not I may feel, see, hear, taste, or think I am!! LOL!!)

So to start out with, Oscraps has a wonderful challenge to get your scrapping MOJO going this week!! It is fabulous!! 🙂 It is a member spotlight on two sisters who are members of our site…

I have done one lift last night of Annika's LO called 5 Things (which can be found HERE!!)

here's my take on it…

Be sure and spend some time in these girlies' galleries! They are super inspirational!

Soooo, wanna see something new from me??? How about some stamping??? Most of you know that I gave up my stampin' Up demonstratorship on October 1st because of conflicts of interest with their digital scrapping products and my promotion of Oscraps products. But that doesn't mean I don't still love their stamping products!! They are probably my very favorite place for papers, inks and definitely for stamps!!  So I've been attending my friend (and former downline – who i orphaned…she knows I still love her, though!! LOL!) Bev's Stamp club. Here are the three projects we did in October:

Fallharvestcard

Be sure and check out her blog and email her (bug her!!) about how to create these cards and projects!!

Here is a close up of the very cool Big Shot embossing we did and then added shimmery paint with a small sponge dauber on the raised part!! Very cool!! 🙂

and then I went this month, too!! So here are her November (christmas) projects:

Christmasstampclub

Love the topiary (back right) and those cool sweet cups with the ornament holder embossed on top! But my fave project was definitely the reindeer on the tag sweets holder!! soooo fun, easy and inexpensive! I had told myself back in Sept that I had all the stamps I needed…boy, was I wrong! I slapped my cash down on that table and bought that little reindeer set!! (it comes with a santa, a tree, a reindeer and something else that i totally can't remember!!!) Soooooo cute!!

Wait!!! That's not it yet!! (can you believe???) I know that I've told you about my favorite booth at the Quilt Festival…Galloping Pony Studio. Soooo fun…she likes to do mini quilts and put them on linen with cut-out words from books and antiquey stuff like buttons and other stuff all around. Well, this next project I'm going to show you is inspired by Virginia's style!!

Glidingminiquilt2

I used Moda's Mistletoe Manor charm pack and just sewed little blocks together (not really straight or anything!! LOL!!). Then I used a pattern that I got at the Quilt Festival called Little Country Quilts and reduced the size of the Christmas tree and cut out three trees to applique (fusible) to the mini quilt. I added some batting and tea-stained muslin for backing and just quilted the mini quilt with straight (well, kinda straight! LOL!!) lines. I added some fun song lyrics from some Cosmo Cricket paper (very cool!) and some old buttons from my button box that my grandmother gave me when I was little!!

Glidingminiquilt

This is one of the coolest projects that I've enjoyed making lately, and i hope to do many more!! 🙂

and here's a sneak peek at the mini sheep quilt that I've been working on…Watch for a post coming SOON that details how I made this…btw, it's not done yet. I still have to bind it! yay!!

Sheepquilt2

Well, I hope this post has inspired you to have a wonderful MONDAY!!! I know I'm going to skip around and sing all day!! (ohhh my poor children who have to watch and listen! LOL!)

Let me know what your favorite project is today!!
