Do you ever wake up and think, "What a glorious day today!!" no matter what the day is supposed to bring? I try to do this everyday! This is the day that the Lord has made!!! I will be glad and rejoice in it!! This is not just a Bible verse to randomly quote! For me, this is a way of LIFE!! I keep telling Mr Gorgeous that I am sooooo thankful for everything around me. I try to purposefully align my days to rejoice and praise God…and you know what? He keeps blessing me over and over again! Yesterday, I folded laundry while watching a disney flick that I wasn't too excited about (Sword and the Stone…it's ok..just a bit boring for me), but just the mere fact of being with my 7yo in my clean room (can you believe, mom?) folding wonderfully clean laundry just got me to smiling all day!!

Well, I'm off to get on a plane to go to Alaska with my mom and sister! I'm looking forward to some fun bonding and cooling off!! all at the same time!! :) This is my secret 6th way to BEAT THE HEAT!! 🙂
