Family and friends are planning a benefit for our daughter-in-law & cancer patient, Jamie McMillan, on Saturday, May 23, at the Bay City VFW hall. We will have to-go or dine in barbecue plates, a silent auction, bake sale and The Brazos River Turnaround band. Juliet Lane and the band she sings with, After Hours, will hold a dance that night at the hall with all proceeds going to Jamie’s battle with cancer.

The BBQ, silent auction, bake sale and BRT start at 11am.
After Hours will begin at 8pm.
All at the VFW Hall in Bay City!

July 8th 2010…

An update from Mary Jane on July 5th:

Our precious daughter-in -law,  Jamie left her painful earthly shell at 7:10 last night (July 4th). She went peacefully as Jeff sat by her side. We are so thankful to God for answering our prayers for mercy and peace. As we drove home at 11 PM, Jeff saw the fireworks in the sky and said there is great celebration for Jamieonight! Yesterday her daughter looked through her mother’s prayer journals and found where last month God had told her that her family was hurting and she had written a prayer for them. What a blessing for her family to read that.

Jamie wants us to really celebrate the fact that she is rejoicing around Christ’s throne with her mother and thank God for His provision throughout her life! So we invite you all to help us celebrate the life of Jamie Brown McMillan!
