Hi everyone!!! Thanks soo much for joining me this week at my trendy tuesday to learn about a wonderful new product by Stampin' UP!!! I have just recently purchased the Texturz Plates for my Big Shot and I LOVE THEM!!! They add texture to any piece of cardstock, acetate, and probably chipboard! (I haven't tried that, but ohhhh we'll have to, won't we???)

So, in order to show you this product right, I've decided to do a challenge from the Cuttlebug challenge BLOG and use my own products! I want to thank Spike for her wonderful tutorial on burnished velvet!!! and Maggie for having such an inspirational challenge BLOG!!

Here's what I did:

1. Start with your TEXTURZ plate! I love this swirlie pattern!! If you look on your Multi-Purpose Platform, it will tell the "sandwich" order! Here's a pic of that order!! heehee

TIP:>>>>I added a piece of cardstock on the second piece of cardstock I texturized to give me a deeper impression! This is perfect for these plates! not too much, not too little!!

2. Take your Tombo multi-purpose Glue and, using the pen side, draw along the raised designs. Spike uses a Zig two way pen…this works great, as does the 2-way glue pen SU! sells.

*Let it dry!!

3. Take your chipboard heart and ink with Rose Red Classic ink. USing the large side of the Tombo Multipupose glue, cover the chipboard with glue! (I used my finger to spread it, but be forewarned, that stuff is sticky, sticky!! worth every inch of stickiness!!)

4. If you are still waiting for your glue to dry, you can cut out your title using the Sizzex alpha dies. I used GoGo Boots to spell i WISH. LOVE that!! Easy quick title that looks smashing!!

5. When most, if not all of your glue is clear on your textured paper (and your heart), go ahead and dip it in the glitter. FINE glitter is the best!! We have several color sets that are really cool!! I'm just using silver here…

6. Adhere all of your elements to your page. I used the multi-purpose glue to adhere the letters with a bamboo skewer to get it on the skinny things!

7. I used my computer to print my journaling on photo paper. When I adhered the strips to my page, I still had that sticky glue on my fingers and it got on my strips. **TIP*>>>use your adhesive remover to get those off of any surface!
